James M. Caddell, bass, has extensive recording, Broadway, and television credits. He recently completed the soundtrack to the highly acclaimed PBS series the Civil War, as well as a collection of Christian jazz vocal recordings. He has just finished recording his own Gospel CD titled All Kinds of Worship and a Big Band CD titled For My Friends, as well as several jazz recordings with Don Lanphere, internationally-known saxophonist. Mr. Caddell has one featured song on the Clarence A. Cox Trio’s new CD Indigenous Groove. He has also had the pleasure of performing for Presidents Carter, Ford, and Reagan.

A musical actor since 1973, Mr. Caddell spent one year performing in the Pirates of Penzance on Broadway and on national tour. His regional credits include performances with the ACT Theatre in Seattle, the Coeur d’Alene Civic Light Opera, the Riverside Opera Company, the Tacoma Opera, and the Group Theatre in Seattle.
